The ocean is a treasure chamber of usable features and substances. CRM takes advantage of these "patents of nature" in order to develop applications like coatings, glues and antifouling products.
Furthermore, natural substances from the sea and marine organisms serve as important active agents in pharmaceuticals and food products.
Prerequisites for our product developments are long-termed environment-friendly production and utilisation of marine resources, e.g.

• antibiotics from macroalgae and sponges
• our seaweed farm in the Western Baltic as an innovative and practicable solution. In this farm we yield high quality Laminaria saccharina under controlled conditions as the raw material for refinement and product development. But growing algae has also an aesthetic perspective.
